Yeah, I know I didn't post yesterday, but I was preoccupied... sorry! Anyway here's what happened on the 17th:
Per usual, Jacob came up behind me and smacked me on the back of the head... several times. I yelled that it hurt, but people just laughed saying it was just Jacob. He remarked that he was upset that I didn't sit in front of him anymore (because of chair arragements). I cheered.
Later on, apparently Mr. M had sang a really high note the other day... why I didn't know about this, I have no idea. But he attempted it again, but he only managed to look like on of those baby dinosaurs on Jurassic Park. He also attempt at some really bad analogies... like "you can't get to the moon with a bottle rocket." Of course, Cat didn't understand, so she yelled it out in front of the class. Mr. M continued to make more analogies, but to no effect. So he left it alone, while Cat continued to be confused.
Today... well just read:
Once again Jacob decided to harass me. Nothing new... only he kept telling me go away. Not likely. The class itself was rather dull. We stopped early however, because of some fundrasier Mr. M had to pass out. By the time that was done, we had 20 mintues left in class so guess what me did to pass the time... we played those silly hand games that you used to know on the playground in elementary school. So what, we like to revist our childhood... not that we're grown up, but anywho...
Me, Cat, Racheal, and Kaitlyn started to play a certain one, that could have as many players as you want. The class was loud and didn't really notice the clapping. But once Taylor and Josh joined us, it got rather loud and everyone started to stare.
I was actually getting it, until the class (including Mr. M!) started to clap... but of course they didn't know the rhythm, so they were really random. Mr. M, being a percussionist himself (& having a masters in it!) purposely created some odd rhythm, which threw me off.
I laughed, because I always screw up, and rolled back to get out of the oval/circle we were in. I rolled right into Mr. M, who just looked down at me and shook his head. Cat threw a pencil at him, upset that he had messed them up, but he just took it saying that he was running low on pencils. Cat was awfully upset. Once again I laughed!
Well that was today and yesterday. I hope it was slightly interesting. I apologize for any spelling mistakes, I've never been good at it.

Welcome and Intro of Characters
2007-01-16
Ok, this is for all you band geeks out there! This is the crazy stories that happen in my concert band class. I will also include marching band, but since that's outta season we'll just stick to concert. BTW, I am in Wind Ensomble, so these are supposedly the best players. Also, they are craziest, so I suppose your in luck!
Alright, a little introduction is in order, so you fully understand these people.
Flutes
Kristen, aka me: 1st chair Flutist, one of the favorites of the band Director.
Kaitlyn: 4th Chair, she a good friend of mine. Fashion oriented and really perky, dispite the goth appearance.
Racheal: 2nd Chair, another good friend. She also perky and goth looking. Sits next to Kaitlyn and can her blonde moments.
Mindy: 3rd Chair and sits next to me. Very Random Person... we don't talk much.
Clarinets
Katie: Brill player, and really LOUD! Friend of mine.
Taqashia: I didn't spell that right, but anywho... Another Brill player. She 1st chair.
Colins: She is a girl, BTW. Also a little loud, but nice when she wants to be. Also Friend.
French Horns
Cat: Ok, I known her since I was like 6! Very loud and extremely funny. She will probably be in almost every post.
Justin: He's really shy, so you won't hear much about him.
Trumpets
Tyler: Loudmouth and we always argue. Oh well, we're still friends... whatever.
Emily: ANother good friend. She talks a lot to Hannah (another trumpet) and is always in trouble. Hehe...
Trombones:
Josh: The only person on this catagory I care about... Taylor's BF that always drives us everywhere. Very nice guy and I consider him a friend.
Low Brass/Reeds
Jennifer: Soft spoken, but usually make a good point... another friend and she sits right behind me
Jacob: Hmmm... what to say about him. He annoys me constantly and is the Drum Major for next year... oh buddy. We argue and he will also always be in the post. Also, Racheal's almost BF and Mr. M's Fave student... even if he doesn't want to admit it
Percussion
Taylor: A good friend of mine. She'll be in here some, but she is in the back, so I might not always get her into the post.
Director:
Mr. M: He's psyco! He'll always be in here. Usually Cat annoys him all throughout class and he's actually funny...
Alright that's everyone I think. I'll try to add people as I come across them... I'll put this as a link so that ya'll can always refer back to it if you get lost on who's who.
